Plateau State University (PLASU) is set to introduce 20 new undergraduate degree programmes, subject to Senate approval and resource verification by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The proposed programmes span various faculties, including Computing, Communication and Media Studies, Education, Environmental Sciences and Basic Medical Sciences.
The institution’s Directorate of Academic Planning requested Senate approval for the new programmes, driven by the increasing demand for admission and the need to meet diverse educational needs.
If approved, the programmes are expected to commence in the 2026/2027 Academic Session.
