The Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Naanlong Daniel, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his conferment with a traditional title in Ebonyi State.
In a statement issued on Monday signed by his Press Secretary, Philip Eplong, the Speaker described the honour as a recognition of Yilwatda’s leadership, national service and contributions to development.
The title, Chimereze I of Ebonyi State, was conferred by His Royal Majesty, Ezeogo Charles Nwefuru Mkpuma, CFR, Chairman of the Ebonyi State Council of Traditional Rulers.
“The conferment of the title Chimereze I of Ebonyi State on Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda is a fitting recognition of his outstanding leadership qualities, commitment to national development, and remarkable service to humanity,” Daniel said.
The Speaker noted that Yilwatda has continued to distinguish himself as a leader whose contributions to governance, unity and inclusive development have earned him respect across the country.
According to him, the honour should serve as further encouragement for the APC National Chairman to sustain his contributions to national growth and stability.
Daniel prayed for continued wisdom and strength for Yilwatda in his national assignment, and wished him greater success in future endeavours.
