Crystal Palace have appointed Lens manager Pierre Sage as their new head coach on a three-year contract.
The 47-year-old Frenchman replaces Oliver Glasner, who left at the end of the 2025-26 season after two and a half years in charge.
Sage arrives from Lens, where he spent 12 months and guided the club to a second-place finish in Ligue 1, as well as their first Coupe de France triumph in 120 years.
He previously spent 14 months as head coach of Lyon, initially in an interim role, leading them to Europa League qualification in the 2024-25 season.
Palace had also considered several candidates, including former Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, alongside Frank Lampard, Kieran McKenna and Sean Dyche.
Sage takes over after a successful spell under Glasner, who won three trophies during his tenure.
The Austrian led Palace to their first major honour in the FA Cup in 2025, followed by the Community Shield and the Conference League last season.
Their European success means Palace will compete in the Europa League in Sage’s first season in charge.
Sage will be joined by his assistant at Lens, Jamal Alioui, while Paddy McCarthy and Andy Quy remain on the coaching staff.
