Nigeria’s youth table tennis team has departed for Accra, Ghana, ahead of the 2026 African Youth Table Tennis Championships.
Coach Friday Abah said all travel arrangements had been completed, adding that the players and officials were in high spirits and confident of making a strong impression at the continental tournament.
He appealed to Nigerians to support the team with prayers, expressing optimism that the players would make the country proud through outstanding performances in Accra.
The African Youth Table Tennis Championships will bring together the continent’s top young players to compete for honours and qualification for the Youth Olympic Games.
